Appointments

chdThese are normally 10 minutes long and can be booked up to 4 weeks in advance.

We try and accommodate to your preference of doctor, but this cannot always be guaranteed.

Emergency appointments can be allocated on the day but we may not be able to offer your choice of doctor or time.

Acutely ill children under 16 will be given an appointment as soon as possible when it is urgent.  At times when there are no appointments free that day, the on-call GP will be notified of the case and will make a decision where an appointment can be added onto the clinic in progress or may arrange a home visit or if appropriate may do a telephone triage.  Once the child has been seen the GP will ascertain if a further follow-up is needed either in person or by phone.

If you don't need to be seen face to face or you need a continuation of a sick note you can contact us using the econsult function at https://www.online-consult.co.uk/org/alvanley-family-practice
